Waterfall Adventures in Outback Australia
Our waterfall adventures will take us to many different places in the outback. Heavy monsoonal rains over hundreds of kilometers of high escarpment dump huge quantities of water which then runs down to the coastal plains.

Marcell and Warwick sent us this photo of Florence Falls with the comment "..we had an awesome day and thought we would like to share our photos of the day with you"

As we travel we will come across beautiful cool water and spectacular waterfalls in surprising places. Most run with water all year round and turn into raging torrents at the height of the wet season.

If you carry a camera and fancy yourself as a photographer , the opportunites for spectacular photos are endless. For those who never make it in person, there are many posters and sceensavers available to bring the beauty of water into our homes.

Wangi Falls is a favourite, surrounded by tropical forest and listening to the many birds in the area, it is a cool swim in a beautiful setting.
Take a walk around the main waterfalls and their rock pools to discover lots of small isolated nooks and cranny's in the ancient bushland scenery. There is a sense that time has little meaning here, that the rocks and the water have shelterd the urgency of the bush birds and scurrying lizards since the dreamtime.

Great day, good company , great driver. Numerous crocs and splendid waterfalls. Not forgetting the singing hey! Andrew Morgan, UK |

Peacefull quiet streams flow through the bush. This is the perfect setting for people wanting to "get away from it all" and find tranquility.
